01. Acceptance of Terms

By downloading our mobile application, creating an account, ordering smart stickers, or scanning an HushTag QR code or NFC tag, you agree to be bound by these Terms and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree to these Terms, you may not use our services.

02. Nature of the HushTag Privacy Relay

HushTag operates as an ephemeral privacy-preserving relay network. The service enables vehicle owners, pet parents, and individuals to receive situational notifications (such as parking alerts, lost item recoveries, or contact inquiries) from third parties ("scanners" or "finders") without disclosing personal telephone numbers, home addresses, or emails.

03. User Responsibilities & Permissible Use

When creating tags and using HushTag, you agree to:

• Provide accurate account information during phone verification.
• Affix physical stickers and tags only to property you legally own, lease, or have explicit permission to manage (e.g. your personal vehicle, your pet's collar, your personal luggage).
• Maintain the confidentiality of your account credentials and one-time passwords (OTPs).
• Immediately disable or regenerate any tag that is stolen or compromised.

04. Prohibited Conduct

You may not use HushTag, its QR tags, or communication tunnels to:

• Harass, stalk, threaten, defame, or intimidate tag owners or passersby.
• Send spam, unsolicited commercial advertisements, or phishing links through the scanner interface.
• Place tags on vehicles or personal property owned by third parties without authorization (covert tracking).
• Attempt to reverse-engineer, decompile, or breach the WebRTC voice tunnel or tokenized session architecture.
• Misuse the Good Samaritan reputation score by generating fraudulent recovery pings.

Violation of these rules will result in immediate termination of your account, deactivation of all associated tags, and reporting to relevant cyber authorities where required by law.

05. Subscriptions, Stickers & Payments

HushTag provides a Free Tier alongside optional hardware purchases and an All-Access Annual Pro Membership.

• Hardware: Physical smart stickers and NFC tags are purchased through secure checkout and delivered in accordance with our Shipping Policy.
• Annual Membership: Pro subscriptions are billed yearly in advance. You can cancel auto-renewal at any time in the app settings.
• Refunds: Governed by our 7-day money-back guarantee outlined in our Refund Policy.

06. Limitation of Liability

HushTag is provided "as is" and "as available". While we strive for 99.9% uptime and instant message delivery, we are not liable for:

• Parking tickets, vehicle towing, vehicular damage, or theft occurring while an HushTag sticker is affixed.
• Carrier network outages, lack of cellular coverage, or device power failures preventing alert receipt.
• The content or conduct of third-party passersby scanning your public QR tag.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, HushTag's total aggregate liability shall not exceed the amount paid by you in the preceding 12 months.

07. Governing Law & Dispute Resolution

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of India. Any disputes arising under these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the competent courts in Gurugram / New Delhi, India.
